Check Credit Reports For Minors

Account in collections, I contact a collection agency?
Well, I'm new to this set to verify my credit and reconstruction something so here goes. I recently tried to see my dermatologist and told me I had an account in collections. Well, what happened when I was 17 and therefore a minor, but was sent to the collection agency when she turned 18 and is now on my credit report. The dermatologist said that all what happens in my name, parents, and now I can see them, to admit it was their mistake, but I do not know about litigation and prefer to pay a fair and disappeared. So here is my question (s) … I found the name and telephone number for recovery, which can pay as much as not many, but not exactly what I mean? I would like them to make payments and review the collection out of my report. Failure to remove the ad, then I'd rather not even pay at all because it is the only reason I am this. What should I do or say? Thank you very much.
First, the absence of debt that can be placed on your credit report for a date service when you were 17 years unless they have been released and no longer claimed on your tax return or parents if they were insured. If you choose to pay, send payments collection agency and let them know that you know are not legally responsible and we hope this has not notified by credit FDCPA law and background I gave you, which basically says, parents are responsible if you asked on your taxes or whether they were insured and is not responsible for any debts contracted before his 18th birthday if you were married and lived without the help of their parents
Net threat to minors less than feared
