How I can clear my credit?
ex boyfriend used my credit card and social security number to open a cell phone several years ago. I am now being contacted by a collection agency to collect the money owed to that account. it also appeared on my credit report as a "collection" unpaid. agreed to pay the debt (in writing only), but I would very clear that the negative reflection on my credit file. How I can do if my only form of contact with my ex's email and mailing address? certified mail? ask them to contact the collection agency?
