If I am 16 and an additional cardmember on a parents American Express account do I build credit still?
I was reading somewhere that American Express still reports the information to the credit places like Experian. Also do purchases that are payed off on the main account holders credit card apply to my credit history? Thanks!
No, sorry. You’ll still need to build your own credit history when you are 18.
