Where I can find mortgage lender-friendly bankruptcy?
Hi, I want to buy a house in the state of Washington. My Channel 7 BK released / Closed October 15, 2005. My annual income is $ 104K (W2 verifiable) and my average is 676. I want to be pre-approved for $ 250K and I ~ 4% to put down. Credit Report shows no seizures. Does anyone have any idea where to shop for a lender? I just learned something. Included in my bankruptcy was a real estate loan. I guess that means I have a foreclosure. Can I still get a mortgage?
Not that the magnitude of the problem. Many mortgage brokers can help. I suggest going with a local lender in the area that is moving, however. Out of state lenders are often problematic, for one reason or another, and almost still cause delays. A great way for you to get a good lender is going to BNI.com. Find a chapter in which the movement area. Find an Agent Real Estate member of this group and ask which is the best lender for your situation. Another thought … compare your loan may look like today and what your loan would be in October. You can decide whether to wait until the BK is free for 2 years. This does not mean it can not be creative with your real estate agent and the home tie before, but at least until October. prolonged closure of the right to occupy (and pay the rent) at the time, etc.
