credit report breakdowns
The amount of money sent to the collection agency affect credit score?

I opened a Verizon cell phone bill is about 2 years. I had 30 days to return the phone to avoid a cancellation fee. After returning the phone within this period, I took a cancellation fee anyway. After dealing with them for about three months, finally took office called out but still owes about $ 40 for the account for a month, even though I never hung up. I asked for a bill setting that shows the distribution of costs, but they sent me to a collection agency when refused to pay without a new law. Now that $ 40 is on my credit file. Beyond that, my credit history is impeccable. I'm looking to get another mortgage home (by selling my current home)? Does money affect credit ratings? Thanks! – Pamela beneath you thanks for the link, but do not understand Gibbrish not.

My feeling is that they want to pay because you want to prove a point. Since she did not deserve this bill, why you should pay. But a default account is a default account and must be paid. Otherwise, always be there. What a pain, just be happy, it's only $ 40. I know that people pay hundreds of dollars false default amounts just to get credit to buy a house / car.
