Clear spending accounts credit history?
Hello. In 2005, I called my three credit card companies and I settled my debt to them. I paid about 70-80% of the debt I had and they closed the accounts. The problem is that this shows that cancellation of debt on my credit file. Is it possible for me to remove these accounts from my credit report? Thanks
Unless you are correct, that can not be "eliminated." Fall after a while if you really get paid, but until the delinquent account is remarkable that you can update the report indefinitely.
