your credit report for employment potential?

I worked for the same company for over 12 years and am looking for maybe a new job soon because of the possible closure of the company. I'm worried about prospective employers run my credit file. I had my identity stolen a few years ago and I'm still trying to remove negative items from my credit report. I have already put a fraud alert with Equifax, TransUnion and Experian and questioned several items in my report, but some negative elements are still in my report. I know that the purpose of executing the report is to determine the reliability and, if a prospective employee is trustworthy. I do not want my credit file contains inaccurate information to help get a job. Should I tell prospective employer about my situation before running the report? Does anyone have suggestions on how I should handle this situation?

Be open with them and tell them in advance that there are elements on the report that are yours. Open disputes of all articles that are false.
