Can I be denied credit if I have a fraud alert on my credit report?
I recently applied for a loan car twice was denied. I have a traffic agreement 666 and 649. We have over 6000k $ 3000k in debt and total income, including rent. All I can think of why we were denied due to fraud alerts. Any comments?
According to a description of Fraud FICO account potential creditors to take extra care to verify the applicant's identity. That's all it does, it does not affect the loan. You should receive a letter from the lender stating the reason for the denial of the application. Hope that answers your question
