I am an honest hard working man just trying to raise my family and provide sequrity for them .. any input is better that none at all thanks for viewing
First, get a copy of your credit reports, if you already have one that is less than 60 days old then you need to send a dispute letter to all 3 bureas, there is a generic form you can get online, search the web for “credit dispute forms” you should be able to find a credit report dispute form. On your credit report, each listing that has been paid will have an account number, fill out the dispute form and include all information, the account number showing on your credit report, cancelled check, receipt, and list your reason as paid in full- go straight to the bureas, skip the creditor. If the creditor reporting does not respond or shows inaccurate info, the bureas will remove it from your credit report. Use this form for everything on your credit report and be sure to send each dispute form to each burea. It could also take a reminder letter to get it cleared off, wait at least 60 days before sending a reminder to the bureas, be sure and keep copies of everything you send off. Good luck
