Credit Report Lawyers Nj
2010
Can someone please give me legal advice ????? PLEASE!?
Yesterday when checking my credit through a credit report I bought online I realized that I was a victim of identity theft. turns out it was my own brother. I went to the police and have filed a police report. They encouraged I live in New Jersey my brother (who committed the crime) lives in North Carolina. I have all the necessary documents to prove that it was he who did it. I also contacted with police in North Carolina. They said the police report faxed to them by the police is NJ. I want to use criminal charges. My brother will be charged according the laws or the laws of North Carolina New Jersey? How do I file criminal charges? Do I need a lawyer? All charges of identity theft have been made in Carolina North. He opened a Nextel phone, two utility bills and fixed telephone not to mention I can be a co-signer of a vechile. I looked at the statues of Nc state and nj and i shows that criminal charges with police in North Carolina, right?
Your brother will be charged by federal law, such as identity theft is a felony. You do not need a lawyer because he was the prosecutor who sees the case until the end. Is your brother who needs a lawyer. Her brother presented to the court in state where you live, you are the victim. I suggest you do not have any contact with it all, and also get an order from him immediately, asking him to cease and desist from using his identity, pending trial results. Did you know that you can request a new social security number to clarify this point? Thanks former president Bill Clinton for that. Good luck, sorry you have such a scum bag of a brother.
