Then a negative reporting agency to collect information on a personal credit report for a business account?
I have problems with an account through my company. First, I did not open the account (separate issue), and work to get this resolved. At the same time, a collection agency reported this on my personal credit report. Can they legally do this because it is a corporate account? I try to know what the law regarding this kind of thing. I live in California and the company is also in California – in the case of a dispute. Any informatio would be appreciated. Thanks!
Request a copy of the contract account, you have to see if you agree to be personally responsible for failure to pay, of course, sometimes in small print that most people do not read until resolve this, you can put a consumer statement on your credit file, leaving your other creditors know this particular account is in dispute and the dispute is concerring.
