Want to take that credit or debit card?
I am a high school student with a job and a checking account with National City. Even remotely understand about numbers, credit reports, etc. In fact, it terrifies me and use my credit card checks because I have fear of ruining my credit, which means first. I understand that if I use my debit card, because it removes money from my account immediately. But if I use it as credit, what happens? They just have to wait long to take your account? What about my "credit" and what is the point? What should I use?
The first thing to remember is that the "debit card" Never is a real credit is a debit card, it takes money from your bank account as money effective. The flow rate or the manner in which the transaction is sent to the bank and is a comfort to the merchant. Some merchants are not configured to accept cards debit so they can run the card "credit." When the transaction reaches the bank, they are all treated the same way that it makes no difference for you. Not depend on "credit" takes longer to hit your account. I was banking my show when I was home from the store! As for your "credit score", do not worry not only manage their money properly and pay your bills on time and everything will be fine. The only things affect your credit score is when you're ready money (credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, etc.).
