Questions about the collection AGENCIES what are my rights?
Got a call from a company called CBC that require national payment in full for a cable company's "Comcast." Now, 2 years, my back is in the process of buying a house and I had an account for collection with Credit Protection Association Comcast. I paid 288.16 imeditaly asked no questions asked. Now that the company acquired the CBC appears to account for them and require 288.16. I called this company and they have shown and still I have to call credit insurance. Credit Protection called again, they told me also shows that was outstanding. I go to the bank and get a copy of the front and back check to send to the litigation department said it would take 45 days to investigate. Here is my problem with that, I went to the bank received the check "$ 50 of service:" I am planning to financing a car in a month, my report Credit shows that CBC has opened the account in 11/06. What are my rights?
I'm sorry your going through this, unfortunately, a common tactic of these AGENCIES collection. They will buy the credit. Even if paid, and sometimes they will buy credit that has already been resolved. I got a call in a project of law resolve of 7 years. They just want money and will go wrong for it.
