Apartment complex won’t update judgement on credit report?
I have paid this judgement 5 months ago and the apartment complex said they would update it on my credit report and they won’t. They won’t even do a release form at the county clerk office. I have spoken to them and they give me the run around. This should be illegal. I’m trying to buy a house and pay everything on my report and this complex is the hardest one of all. Any advice? I’m thinking of contacting FTC.
You will need to contact Equifax, Experian and Transunion these are the three credit reporting agencies. You will need to request an investigation they have to investigate all complaints in 30 days or less. The apartment complex shoud get the message.
