what is the difference between experian’s PLUS score and the experian Vantage score?

i pulled my credit report one month ago from experian and they gave me a VANTAGE credit score of 653. now i pulled it again last night from experian as well and they gave me a PLUS credit score of 552. how in the hell could my score drop 100 points in one month. are they measeured on two diffrent scales or what? i getting worried.

They use different formulas.

The CRAs (credit reporting agencies) have their proprietary scores, then there’s the FICO score, and now the big three CRA’s came out with a common model/method/formula, called the Vantage score. As far as I know it is currently not important because it is not being used by anyone.

The first online search gave me this page — http://www.creditreporting.com/vantagescore.html. Do some searching before asking questions will ya…
