My credit score?

I tried to get a line of credit for about 5k and my bank said I don’t have enough room for credit? Something like that, so I got my credit report. I range from between 730-750. I thought that was considered pretty good? Then I read it wasn’t! I am confused! Why would they decline a good credit? I have never been bankrupt or late with payments.

Score is not the only thing lenders look at, what they most likely were referring to is that you have to much debt now and don’t qualify for more based on your debt to income ratio.
