Do Victorias Secret Credit Card customer service agents have the ability to fax a letter?
My husband and I are trying to buy a house. My lender needs a letter from VS showing that the card is paid off, and that the account has been closed. I called VS and they told me they mailed the letter, but that it can take up to TWO weeks to get here. Then it takes 3-5 business days for the credit companies to update my report-waaay too long if we want to put an offer in on a house.
The customer service rep that I spoke to said that they didn’t have the ability to fax a copy of the letter to me, but this seems unlikely. Does anyone know if the agents (or their supervisors) have the ability to fax me a copy of this letter?

Customer service reps more than likely do not have the ability fax a letter but I’m confident their supervisors do. Simply call back and ask to speak to a supervisor explain your situation and that you need the letter immediately and the should be able to accommodate you either by fax or email which you can forward on to your lender. However this account should not prevent you from being able to put in an offer on the home. If you meet all the criteria to be approved on a home loan they can provide you with a letter of approval based on your giving them the information the requested.
