Credit Report Three Companies

I applied for a credit card and it said there was missing info on my credit report.?
What does this mean? It then went on to list the three main credit companies as though they checked all of them. Is this bad?
There could be a possibility of a split file.
Most creditors will report to all three credit reporting agencies, but there are some who will only report to one or two.
While a credit card company may check more than one credit reporting agency, it’s rare that they check all three, but it does happen.
If you were denied credit, the card company should be sending you a letter giving you the reasons why and which agency they pulled. If you were denied you would be able to get your report for free from the credit reporting agency(s) they pulled.
You should order all three of your reports and look over them carefully to see if there is information is missing. If you feel that there is a problem with missing information, call the credit reporting agency and ask them to look into it. If you do have a split file, they will be able to correct it.
