Credit Report Tips
2010

My credit report says my score is “0″! How long ’til I have a real score?
I’m 18 and have had 2 credit cards for around 6 months. I checked my credit and all 3 major credit bureaus show my as a credit score of zero!
I know I have limited credit history. (new)..but how long til I see a REAL score? and what will it start out as?
Both my credit cards have been paid on time..no negatives on my report…
Any tips??
Your accounts have to be active for at least 6 months before you get a score. When you do get an actual score, remember it doesn’t take much for your score make a big dive when you have such limited history.
Best thing you can do is continue to use both those cards, and pay them in full every month. That way you will build a good payment history, save on interest, and stay out of debt.
Don’t obsess over your score. Pay all your bills on time and check your credit report annually for errors. Your score will do just fine.
