Authorized User on Parents Credit Card is showing up on my Credit Report?

In college my parents added me as a user for their credit card account so I could make school related purchases. This card, now in 10k+ debt (not mine, or related to my school purchases) is on my credit report. Can they remove me from the card and if so will this close the account on my report? I have other credit cards but only with a total limit around 15,000 and lots of student loans.
My score is already high 690s

Have them remove you as an authorized user and then it should show as closed or removed in some cases.
