there are numerous credit inquiries listed on my report from when I was buying a car. How do I correct this?
It is my understanding that when you are rate shopping with several companies before a purchase, the bureau should only list one inquiry, as long as the inquiries are within a 14 day period. After purchasing a car, the bureau is listing 6 inquiries for this purchase. The Consumer credit report update form has no place to report this. What is my next step here. Thanks
you can write questions on regular paper and send them to the credit reporting agency, this will not affect your credit score
