free credit report (20 characters)?
is there a site that is truely FREE to let you view your credit report? im 19 about to turn 20 and i cannot seem to get approved for any credit card. i’m very responsible and will pay back the credit card company but it says i am denied by every major credit card because of my credit history. my mom wasnt the greatest mom and i believe she may have put something in my name that has screwed my credit. and im wanting to see to make sure but every credit report site that claims to be free requires a valid credit card that i cant get approved for! also i dont know anyone that can let me use their card either so that isnt a option. thanks in advance.
Go to www.annualcreditreport.com. It’s a site made by the three major credit reporting agencies to access the free one the federal statutes say you’re supposed to get. However, they try and sign you up for their credit reporting services and you have to read the pages as they load and click the right link in order to stay free.
I get my report free there every year.
