credit report variation
Can we still be contacted about a debt if it was challenged and withdrawn from your credit report?

An account opened in my name but with the setbacks. Even got my credit report with a note on the change in social security because the number of the company was admitted was very similar to mine. I dispute the information and was eliminated. However, keep in touch with the company to pay. I was under the assumption that the credit bureau delete information only whether there is evidence that the issue does not belong to me.

What they are describing two different situations. The first relates to the rating. Congratulations for taking the time to see your credit score and check your overall credit. It took the error and they were wise and able to remove this card fraudulently -. The second point, however, deals with the credit card company is not a credit bureau. Say, for example, someone opened a Sears card in his name, but with the wrong Social Security number. Have accumulated purchases and, of course, never paid. If you remove this card from your credit Sears, Sears can not be aware of this fraud. So they're with you for payment. In this scenario, you need to talk to the loan officer of Sears to discuss anything I've written here – it was one count of fraud and account. Just be careful if … fraud, as this does not bode well. Some may feel that you have created your own false social security number only to commit fraud. Others may think that one of their relatives (as a friend or family member) who mostly knew his social security number, but was out of a digit or two. And also a chance that had the bad luck that his identity has been stolen, but hopefully in the hole was so stupid as to obtain security social evil. Anyway, I'd be careful now and start seeing things up close (for all other operations of counterfeit). Good luck!
