What do these terms mean on my credit report (transferred and closed, written off or charged off)?
I just recently requested a credit report. I knew that I had 4 credit cards in collection and 3 medical bills also. These are all a couple years old, probably 2. When I looked at my report it showed only my medical bills in collections and all of my credit cards said their status was either, transferred and closed, written off or charged off, and they only show as negative accounts not in collections. Can someone please tell me what exactly these terms mean? (transferred and closed, written off or charged off)
