Edmonds confesses to ‘186mph drive’?
There is a yahoo news item as per the link below that reports Noel Edmonds has admitted to driving his Ford GT at 186 MPH
Below is a quote from the article – please have a quick look:
“I feel that all the television personalities who admit things like that could be in a position where young people look up to them and if they see that they think ‘Oh, that’s fine, we can do that’.” /end quote
Do you honestly think that the public are that stupid that they belive if a famous person does something that it is ok for them to do it?
I feel that sometimes these watchdog groups don’t give the public the credit they deserve.

I agree, these watchdog people must think we only have one brain cell, and if Noel can do it does it make us all want to do it, anyway, how many of us have a GT40 for a start? My old land rover is lucky to get to half that speed. I did 135 once in a 911Targa, that was fun, but there was no upper speed limit in those days.
Also he is an accomplished racing driver, so should be quite competent
