A new report "South African market for biofuels," he added Visionshopsters
South Africa is not yet active part biofuel production upscale. Interest is high and the industry looks forward to the official announcement of government policy on biofuels, which will pave the way for development.
This report is a complete coverage of the ethanol market Biodiesel in South Africa.
Biodiesel is a fuel derived biomass – recently living organisms or their metabolic byproducts such as manure from cows. It is a renewable energy source, unlike other natural resources as oil, coal and nuclear fuel.
Ethanol is manufactured from microbial conversion of biomass materials through fermentation. Ethanol contains 35% oxygen. The production process involves the conversion of biomass into fermentable sugars, fermentation of sugars into ethanol, and the separation and purification of ethanol. Fermentation initially produces ethanol containing a substantial amount of water. Distillation removes most water ethanol purity of about 95%, the rest is water. This mixture is called hydrous ethanol. If the remaining water is removed in another process, ethanol is called anhydrous ethanol and is suitable to mix with gasoline. Ethanol is "denatured" before leaving the factory to make it unfit for human consumption by adding a small many products such as gasoline.
Biodiesel fuels are oxygenated organic compounds – methyl or ethyl esters – derived from a variety of sources renewable resources such as vegetable oil, animal fat and cooking oil. The oxygen content in biodiesel, which is unstable and requires stabilization to avoid storage problems. rapeseed methyl ester (RME) diesel, derived from rapeseed oil, biodiesel is most commonly available in Europe. The U.S. biodiesel, biodiesel soybean oil, called soy methyl ester diesel, is more common. Collectively, these fuels are called fatty acid methyl esters (FAME).
