Should I send my deletion letter to the Credit Reporting Agencies?
I recently had an incorrect collection appear on my credit report. The collection company acknowledged the error and sent a letter saying that they would let the credit reporting agencies know that they screwed up and to remove the entry, The collection agency said this could take up to 2 months. I am trying to buy a condo and would like this off my report sooner. Would sending a copy of the letter express mail to the credit reporting agencies get this removed quicker?
