Superior Asset Management Thinks I Owe Them Money?
This recently showed up on my credit report: a $1432 debt to T1 Mobile. Problem is, I’ve never had an account with T1 Mobile. So, I disputed the item, filling out all the forms and mailing it off to Trans Union. They denied the claim, so I placed a call to Superior Asset Management, and my SSN was correct, but they had my SSN matched up with someone else in Atlanta GA, a town I’ve never been to. I told them to get their collection off my credit report, and they said, sorry, you’ll have to contact T1 Mobile. While I haven’t done that yet, I expect T1 to tell me the debt is now owned by Superior, and the whole thing goes into a closed loop until April 2013. My question is, what would be the best way forward to expunge this error?
