ID theft most common among young adults
More than 11 million Americans had their identities stolen last year. Young people, age 20 to 29, accounted for the highest number of identity theft complaints. With a new academic year under way, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection encourages college students to do some timely homework to avoid becoming part of the statistics.
