Equifax Credit Report Dispute

equifax credit report dispute
How do I remove a dispute I myself lodged on my credit report? Can the bureau I filed through remove it?

The credit report shows that I filed the dispute both through Experian and Equifax (I don’t know why as it was only Experian) but I am trying close on a home loan and this dispute is now considered an “underwriting exception.”

I need to get this removed as soon as humanly possible.

ANY help is welcome.

This does not make sense. A dispute you filed with a credit bureau wouldn’t continue to show on your credit report and definitely would have no bearing on your loan approval. Now the derogatory item you are disputing could be a problem if it remains.

You also must send a dispute to each credit bureau. They don’t share info. It can take up to 45 days to get a response to a dispute. If the creditor verifies the item to the credit bureau, it will stay on your credit report.
