Rental History on Credit Report?
I have pulled all three of my credit reports (Equifax, Transunion, and Experian). I have an eviction from a previous apartment, and I’m applying for a new apartment, that’s why I pulled the reports, but it does not say anything about an eviction on any of these reports. Can landlords checking your credit file see things you can’t see. I mean, if it’s on my credit report I should be able to find it correct? Is there a separate credit report or rental history report specific for landlords?
Also, to any landlords, I don’t want to lie or be dishonest about the past eviction. It happened when I was at a low point in life, and I had three other roommates stiff me. In what ways should I go about showing a potential landlord I have resolved previous financial issues?
The evictions show up on the judgments page, it should be the first page. You may be pulling just your credit, not your full report.
