Equifax Credit Report Request Experian

appealing a loan decision?

I recently did a credit check for a loan, it was an existing loan which i was extending to get rid of my credit card. anyway, i was refused, i paid for a credit report from call credit, experian and equifax, all three had discrepancies, one was showing not on the electoral register, the other two had searches on my file from loan requests i never made, this amounted to 6 searches in the last 6 months. anyway, all three credit agencies have updated my files, all the searches removed, and i am now showing as on the electoral register. my credit score on all three is above average now. is it worth my appealing the decision based on this? the bank gave me the details if i wish to? please do not send me details of loan companies and amazing deals, i will either appeal or just wait a few months and try again, i do not want to try any other lenders.
thanks in advance

Yes — but I REALLY suggest you make sure to say that the basis of your appeal that the Credit reference agencies have corrected errors in your records == i.e. make sure the Bank has a reason to do a new ’search’ (otherwise they may simply review their decision based on your previous score)
