Does a free equifax credit report include employment history and details?

I have been living in USA, NJ for one and half year and working in a company for the same amount of time, but when I checked my free equifax credit report, it did not show any employment history? Is there something wrong? And what all other information I am supposed to get from free credit report?
thank you

Your Credit Report will contain “Employment Information”. This section is only updated when someone submits an update with that information. That would be in cases where you submit a credit application and they request employment information. If they submit that(and not all will) to the credit reporting agencies, the agencies will update that section. All this section will show is the Company Information, it will not list anything about your income.

Because of how this section is updated it is not going to be accurate. It is not uncommon to not have your current company listed. It is also not uncommon to have a company you worked for 10 years ago to be listed either.

Basically your credit report will be broken down into the following sections(but possibly not in this order)

Personal Information – This is things such as your Name(and any alias or previous names), Addresses, SSN,

Employment – Described above

Public Records – Such as if you have any judgments or bankruptcies

Soft Inquiries – These are people who have viewed your credit report. Generally for things such as the pre-approved credit applications. These do not affect your score, and you are the only one who sees this information.

Hard Inquiries – These are actual requests you have made for credit

Credit History – This is a listing of your accounts and the status of each account you have.
