I am new in Canada. I have a mortgage on the house of Scotiabank. As the house is mine.?
I have no credit cards mine. My cards Credit cards are additional for my husband. I have 3 joint bank account with my husband. We never had any problem paying our bills. I once asked a credit card and was rejected by the fact that I'm new here and I have no income to support my credit card. I recently got a job offer that requires a credit check. My question is, since it did not have much credit history and are refused a credit card, I have no verification problem credit? Does the company rejects me for some reason no? I ordered my credit report from Equifax, Scotiabank showing my mortgage. That's all they showed. I asked my credit score, but said the information is not available. I need this job badly. All I can do for you? Any advice? Thanks.
If you have joint accounts and you're in a pool of loans, you must have a credit score. The rejection is most likely due to While the file or income, your credit is not "bad." The employer is not looking the same as a lender. You should be fine because they are looking negative information such as judgments, defaults, collections, etc.
