How do I get in touch with someone at Equifax, Experian and Transunion?
I need to speak with someone in person at all three of the credit bureaus concerning my credit report. I’ve tried the numbers listed on their websites but everything is automatic. Does anyone know if I can actually talk to someone there, and the phone numbers its really important??
There are numbers that will connect to actual people, but why bother? Besides having to wait on hold for a very long time, the person answering the phone really can’t do anything to help you. Pretty much all they can do is take a message, often interpreting and condensing your concern.
It is much better to contact them online or by letter. That way you can state exactly the circumstances and get faster response. Besides, it’s always best to have a papertrail.
