Experian Credit Report Review

CREDIT QUESTION. How can one credit report delete a negative account and another leave the same account on?

After reviewing my credit report, I disputed 2 accounts with transunion, experian, and equifax. The accounts were deleted off of 2 of the 3 reports. How can the accounts be deleted from two and not the third?

The answer is this. Experian, Transunion, and Equifax are seperate companies. They operate differently from each other. I’m willing to bet that Equifax was the one that you were having trouble with. From personal experience, Equifax and sometimes Experian are bad about resolving disputed. Sometimes, it can take a 2nd or even a 3rd dispute in order to get the item removed.
