Experian Credit Report Scale

Need help understanding my credit rating. FICO vs 3 Agency Scores.?
Hello,
I am trying to purchase a house within the next 2 years and I need to get my credit up as much as possible by then.
I ran my credit report through TransUnion, Experian and Equifax and got scores of 765, 776 and 784. Everything I have read states that these numbers are pretty decent, but the 3 agencies all put me as “average” or “C” on an A-F scale.
Should I run another at myfico.com to get a more accurate idea of how decent or crappy my credit really is?
Thanks in advance. I’m pretty clueless in this department but am trying to learn, quickly
Don’t worry about it, and don’t bother spending any more money or time to figure it out.
All three of those scores are excellent and would place you in the “Prime” credit category easily. I’m not sure why the bureaus are calling you average, but as far as the raw scores go, you definitely aren’t. Perhaps they are taking into account length of file? If your score is high but you don’t have a lot of credit history, it means a lot less.
In any case, just keep doing what you are doing, paying bills on time, don’t max out credit cards, etc. You should be totally fine when it comes time to buy that house.
