Experian Credit Reports Repair
2010
What do I do in this situation regarding improvement of my credit?
2/4/06 I bought a SUV from Nissan by trading in a 04 Nissan Sentra with a down payment. As I am trying to repair my credit I find that on my credit report Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. (NMAC) at which both vehicles were financed with have placed on my report that I was three months 2/06, 3/06 and 4/06 behind on my car note of the car that was traded in. On the 4th month the car traded in was paid off. This action has made a negative influence on my credit report. I sent copies of my contact showing the dates of when the car was traded in to the experian, equifax and transunion but they are giving me the run around. I also have NMAC and they are giving me the run around. What do I do?
Go to http://annualcreditreport.com, pull your free credit report from all three major bureaus. It is free once a year from this website.
Open a dispute with every credit bureau that these late payments are being reported to. They will probably verify the information and they will stay on your report.
If they remove them great, however if they fail to remove them, make copies of your documents that prove what date the vehicle was traded in on. Send all three credit bureaus the proof along with a letter demanding that they remove the incorrect information, below I have linked you to a sample letter.

Send the letter certified mail with return receipt. Good Luck.
