About Credit Reports and disputing all the negatives? HELP!?
Here is the deal, I have paid most of my negative debt and I want to pay off the remaining creditors who have reported stuff on my credit. The problem is when I look at my report I don’t know who these crediters are because the debt was bought out by other compnaies.
So I want to contact these creditors yet on my report where they left the negative there is no
Phone number listed, No address and only a partial account number is showed and the remaining numbers are marked out by a row of X’s. How the heck am I supposed to fix this if there is no contact information from these idiots who placed the bad stuff on y reports.
Has anyone seen this on your report? Isnt there a law or something that if someone places a negative on your report that the full contact and details of the crediter have to be named -

1.) Equifax: 800-525-6285
2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 888-397-3742
3.) Trans Union: 800-6807289
Let them know what you want to do. They will get you the forms necessary to get the information you need. Should you disagree with any of the information, they will be able to help you resolve the issues. If they cannot supply you with contact information on the debtors then they will mark those accounts as in conflict and the process of clearing can begin.
Contacting only one of the three will not be enough. You must talk to all three as they do not share information.
