How do you find out what your credit score is?
I know how to get a free credit report, but it doesn’t include the FICO score. Does anyone know of a reliable internet (or other) source to obtain the credit score? I’ve followed a few links but they all cost money and seem to be some kind of scam to get you to enroll in a credit monitoring service for $xx per month, which I don’t need. It seems like lenders really rely on credit scores, but shouldn’t a consumer have easy access to their own.
If you contact the credit bureaus (any of the 3 of them-where you can get your free credit report once a year, no charge), you can get the score for a small fee. You don’t have to “sign up” for any monitoring services if you go directly through the credit bureaus.
