how do you get a free credit report without any hidden costs?
want to file bankruptcy on my own with no attorney trying to obtain free credit report.
I have filed twice for bankruptcy. The last time was before the change in the BK laws. Then it was easier. If you want to represent yourself, then you must understand that you have a fool for an attorney.
Don’t get offended, but what do you know about the law? Did you go to law school? If you think that it is easy, forget it. You will be challenged by the Trustee for the creditors, and you will be making your pants wet at the time. You have to appear in court, and they will challenge everything you say.
At the time of the last filing, I had an 84 Volvo and that was in 1999. The trustee accused my of having a 1998 Mercedes, My attorney stood up and told the guy off. I offered to have him look at my car in the parking lot.
And what do you want to see what is in your report? If you know that you are in bad shaped, your report might not show it.
The last time I filed, I had a 760 rating, and had never been late. I just had too many bills to keep up on, and I had two kids to raise.
Suggest that you just pay what you owe, as this will be with you for 10 years, and will affect you each time you want to think about a home, a rental, or buying a car.
Don’t do it if you can avoid it.
