Free Credit Report Government
2010

Is there any action against free credit report government is taking that hurts privacy?
Is seems free credit report makes not difference to government or regulators.
It is not an invasion of privacy to have your credit report pulled by a business or person with whom you enter (or potentially enter) into a credit relationship and that includes landlords and insurance companies as well as banks, credit card companies, car financing companies, etc.
If someone has pulled your credit report using your social security number without your permission or implied consent as outlined above, that is fraud and you need to put a fraud alert on your report at each of the three credit bureaus.
