Free Credit Report Landlords
2010

Is there a free way to find out if I have an apartment eviction under my name?
I was recently evicted from my apartment but I don’t know if it will show under my name when I go apply for a new place. My friend told me that once it gets tied up in the court system it doesn’t show on your credit report for a long time. I’m hoping to get a new place soon but I need to know whether or not to put my last landlord where I was evicted or if I should just put my address previous to that which is in a another city.
Go to http://annualcreditreport.com and pull your credit report.
Be careful about “skipping” addresses. When the new landlord checks out your application and sees the gap in addresses, he’ll be wondering what you are trying to hide.
