Free Credit Report Monitoring

I have tried several times to get a Free Credit Report without check monitoring without success. Can you help?
I have tried all three credit buears with no success.

http://www.annualcreditreport.com is the _only_ official site to obtain your free credit report.
But beware, all three credit bureaus will try to peddle their credit monitoring services on you when you request your free credit report. If at any point, you are asked to enter your credit card number, go back!
Also note that you won’t receive your credit score for free. If that is important to you, you can typcially buy it for $5 directly from each credit agency.
You are wise to avoid enrolling in credit monitoring. As I say on my web site, “Credit Monitoring Services are a Rip Off!”
