I can’t delete free trial download, from yahoo, called registry cleaner. Why? I keep getting a pop up on log
I downloaded a program called “Registry Cleaner” as a free trial. It scanned my registry and then fixed a few errors and announced that I had to purchase the program to fix the remainder. I do not use a CREDIT CARD ON LINE. I did not purchase the registry cleaner product and keep getting the pop up to purchase each time I boot my computer. I find the program in the list of programs for add/remove on my computer but I can’t delete or remove it from my computer that way either. What do I have to do to report this business to an agency or to Yahoo to accomplish the removal of a permanent pop-up? To whom do I report these issues in the future in order to resplove the problem? This was offered by a smam source called “Zombie”.
