where do you find a credible reporting company for a free credit report without being mislead by billing servi?
every time I go to a site to apply for a free credit report from one of the big three companies I find deliberate misleading information in the advertisments that appears to be trying to get credit card information for payment or I receive no report. Why can’t these big legit companies offer what the law provides without trying to mislead the public for profit
Congress passed a law that the three big credit reporting agencies have to show you your credit report free, once per year.
The website for this is annualcreditreport.com. It’s free, you don’t have to buy anything or sign up for anything. The only problem is you can only do it once a year.
