Free Credit Reports For Landlords

I just applied for an apartment…but I’m worried about the credit check…can someone help?
I meet the income requirements and stuff so thats all good. But now they have to check my credit report. I have a 669-675 credit score. How will they determine if I can rent their apartment? I make effort to pay my bills on time but you know how it is, sometimes you forget but still pay it. They said that on approved credit I get the first rent free and only pay 199 dollars for deposit. Even if this doesnt work out for me Im still fine with paying the monthly rent and the 300 security deposit. But my concern is, will I be able to rent even though my credit history isnt the best such as late payments sometimes, revolving credit card balances, etc. I just really need a home and I am worried they’ll say no because of past mistakes, etc. I have a job and make 2600 a month so I fine on that. What do landlords look for….I just figure if landlords can rent apartments to drug dealers and people that have no jobs on certain occassions, will my situation be ok? Thx
I was an apartment manager and also I worked for property management company.
We look for people who had been on their job for at least one year. Past rental six months or more. FICO Score of 650 or higher. No Eviction,collection or re processions.
I don’t think that you will have a problem finding a nice place to live.
