Free Credit Reports With Scores

is there a site to get a free credit report without signing up for anything?
All the “free credit score” sites offer you a free score, but then want your credit card number for their “free trial membership”. Which seems legit, and they say you can cancel after the 7 or 10 day free trial before they charge your card. However I’m afraid that they may be underhanded and make it very hard for you to cancel your membership.
Does anyone know of a site where I can get my credit score with no strings attached? Please let me know. Thanks!!
Are you asking for a “credit report” or a “credit score”? They are two completely different things. You cannot get both for free from the same place. There are some places that will sell you both or will give you one for free if you pay for the other. To get both for free, you have to get them in different places.
Credit reports are free at http://www.annualcreditreport.com but only if you order only the report and not the score. If you get the score there, it is not free.
Credit scores (without reports) are free at http://www.creditkarma.com and perhaps other sites.
