Where do I go to get the once a year truly free credit report?
I just want to get my yearly credit report, I don’t want to sign up for a service.
I would advise you contact the three major credit bureaus directly to request for a copy of your credit report and score. You are allowed to do so yearly and it will not lower your score. You will be charged a small amount, though. Here is the main address and telephone number for each of the three major credit bureaus:

Please don’t be deceived: there’s no website that will give you “free credit report and score” yearly without asking you to pay. Many of the adverts you see on the TV or the Internet, etc., saying it’s “free,” are nothing but invitations to treat.
Meanwhile, you can be rest assured that the above Credit Bureaus would provide you with your actual report and score if contacted.
