Apartment landlord never contacted me after i moved out early without telling them?

p.s i only did this on one place…lost job….but i have lived in 5 problem free.
i moved june 07 lease was up aug 07…. and never hear from them…didnt change number had paents as references so…. does it mean im problem free?
thank you all… i lovvve the ” i lost that number” hehe ..i got my answer i guess i was just lucky but neeever again will i do this

I’m guessing that the landlord kept your deposit since you never provided them with your new address where they could mail you the check.

Not really sure what you mean about the record/rental history and tenant history? Those addresses will show up in areas that are considered public record – the phone book, any licenses you applied for locally, town hall records. As far as the credit report goes, there won’t be any negative marks there unless the landlord sued you and they won. Judgments DO get reported to the credit agencies, and they’re a b*tch to get taken back off.

Alot of landlords ask for phone numbers of previous landlords so they can get a reference. Obviously, you “don’t have that number available”, it must have been lost.
